Photocopy of Alien Registration Card (Green Card) -or- evidence of legal status in USA (valid visa plus I-94 in passport)

 

 

Vaccinations - International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever required.

 

 

A business letter of responsibility (sample) is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:
Consulate General of Bolivia, Visa Section, New York, N.Y
The letter must explain all of the following:
Nature of business to be performed
Name and address of reference to be visited
This letter should request Multiple Entries visa if required
Guarantee of return transportation and sufficient funds for the visit
The letter should be signed by an officer of the company other than the applicant.

 

 

Letter of invitation on letterhead from a host company or organization in Bolivia. Invitation should detail intended dates of arrival and departure from the country, your name and passport number, and request any special visa conditions (Multiple Entries visa) if required. Fax or scan is accepted.
Letter of invitation must be notarized.

The Bolivian business visa is issued for a single entry within three months from date of issue, provided the passport remains valid, for stay of up to 30 days.
Applications for most foreign nationals are referred for approval, and can take from 2 to 4 weeks.
