REQUIREMENTS FOR U.S. CITIZENS TO OBTAIN A VISA TO ENTER NEPAL
Passport
Please send TDS your current valid and signed passport. U.S passport must be valid at least 6 months beyond intended stay and must have at least one blank visa page. If you do not have any blank visa pages in your passport, TDS can assist you in applying for additional pages. If your passport is not valid 6 months beyond intended stay, you must renew your passport and then we will secure your visa with the new passport.

Please send 1 recent professional passport-type photograph.
Digital and non-passport photographs are not acceptable.
Business Letter
A business letter of responsibility (sample) is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:
Consulate General of Nepal, Visa Section, New York, NY
The letter must explain all of the following:
Nature of business to be performed
Name and address of reference to be visited
This letter should request Multiple Entries visa if required
Guarantee of return transportation and sufficient funds for the visit
The letter should be signed by an officer of the company other than the applicant.

Additional Helpful Information
The NEPAL Business visa is usually issued for multiple entries for a period of 1 year from date of issue, provided the passport remains valid, for a period of stay not to exceed 15/30/90 days.
Passport must have at least six months remaining validity, and contain at least one blank visa page for visa to be issued.
Your application will be hand carried to the Embassy and is usually processed in 1-2 business days.
