A business letter of responsibility (sample) is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:
Embassy of Armenia, Visa Section, Washington DC
The letter must explain all of the following:
Nature of business to be performed
Name and address of reference to be visited
This letter should request Multiple Entries visa if required
Guarantee of return transportation and sufficient funds for the visit
The letter should be signed by an officer of the company other than the applicant.

 

 

For a stay in Armenia not exceeding 120 days, the Embassy of Armenia will process your application for a single or multiple entry Visitor Visa without an invitation letter. A tourist/visitor visa is issued for either tourist or business travel.

For Private Visit:(staying with relatives and/or friends) Please make sure that your inviting party has verified the invitation for official travelers at the Consular Department of the Armenian Foreign Ministry; for private travelers (Visitors visa) - at the Passport and Visa Department of the Police Service in Yerevan). An original invitation will be required.

For tourist stays of longer than 120 days an official invitation from a qualifying entity in Armenia is required.

Visa Requirements, processing times, validity of the visa, and Embassy visa fees are subject to change without prior notice.

The Armenia visa is usually valid for entry within three months from date of issue, for length of stay of up to 120 days.

Multiple entry visa (1 year) can be issued for stays of up to 120 days.

For stays longer than three months, a residency permit must be obtained through the Foreign Ministry in Yerevan.

Rush Services are not available to holders of "Permit to Re-enter the United States" or "Refugee travel Document".

Transit visa is required if Armenia is a stopping point to travel on to other countries. This type of visa can be obtained only in case of having basic visa. Transit visa is valid for three days.

No consular fee is charged for children under age 18 years, and for diplomatic visas.

Passport must have at least 6 months remaining validity and contain at least one blank visa page for visa to be issued.
