Please send TDS your current valid and signed passport. U.S passport must be valid 3 months beyond intended stay and must have at least one blank visa page. If you do not have any blank visa pages in your passport, TDS can assist you in applying for additional pages. If your passport expires beyond 3 months of your intended stay, you must renew your passport and then we will secure your visa with the new passport.

 

Please send 2 recent professional passport-type photographs.
Digital and non-passport photographs are not acceptable.

 

 

Please send a copy of your round trip airline tickets, or itinerary or e-ticket, or letter of confirmation from a travel agent. The itinerary must show the applicant's name, date of arrival and departure from the country, and flight information. The Embassy does not recommend purchasing your ticket prior to a visa being issued.

 

 

For Tourist visas (only single entry): confirmation from receiving tourist organization in Azerbaijan or from a hotel is required. Tourist visa is valid for exact dates of hotel accommodations purchased in advance.

 

 

For Visitor visas (only single entry): An invitation from Azerbaijan. (Invitation should be sent through Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan).

The AZERBAIJAN tourist  visa is usually issued for a single entry for a period of 3 months from date of issue, provided the passport remains valid, for a period of stay up to 30 days.

Your application will be hand carried to the Embassy and is usually processed in 4-10 business days, based upon urgency. The Embassy is open only on Mondays and Thursdays.

Transit and short stay single entry visas (up to 30 days) could be obtained at the visa section of Consular Department of Azerbijan`s MFA in the H. Aliyev International Airport of Baku, upon arrival. The requirements are: to fill in a visa application form upon arrival, to attach 2 passport-size photos and to pay consular fee (equal to corresponding rates as given above, but cash payments only).
All foreigners visiting Azerbaijan for a period of more than 30 days must register their passports with the local passport-registration authorities.
