REQUIREMENTS FOR U.S. CITIZENS TO OBTAIN A VISA TO ENTER BELARUS
Passport
Please send TDS your current valid and signed passport. US passport must be valid at least 3 months beyond intended stay and must have at least one blank visa page. If you do not have any blank visa pages in your passport, TDS can assist you in applying for additional pages. If your passport is not valid at least 3 months beyond intended stay, you must renew your passport and then we will secure your visa with the new passport.

Please send 1 recent professional passport-type photograph.
Digital and non-passport photographs are not acceptable.
Proof of Departure
A visa (or copy) for the country you are traveling from/to via Belarus. In case of traveling to countries with no entry visa requirements - copy of the ticket, itinerary from your travel agency or any other document confirming your trip to the appropriate country
Additional Document
If you formerly had USSR or Belarusian citizenship, please submit the documents proving the loss of USSR/Belarusian citizenship.

Term of Validity must comply with term of stay in destination country;period of stay is up to 48 hours.
Medical insurance is required for all foreign citizens traveling to the Republic of Belarus. This medical insurance can be obtained upon arrival at airport and border entry points. More information
The above visa requirements apply to the Belarus Embassy in Washington, DC.
Transit visas are required for all travelers heading to or from Russia or other New Independent States via Belarus (even if the traveler has valid Russian visa or visa of other NIS state)
