Please send TDS your current valid and signed passport. It must not expire within 6months and must have at least one blank visa page.  If your passport expires within 6 months, you must renew your passport and then we will secure your visa with the new passport.

Please send 1 recent professional passport-type photograph.
Digital and non-passport photographs are not acceptable.

Proof of US Status

Photocopy of Alien Registration Card (Green Card) -or- evidence of legal status in USA (valid visa plus I-94 in passport)

Please send a copy of your round trip airline tickets, or itinerary or e-ticket, or letter of confirmation from a travel agent. The itinerary must show the applicant's name, date of arrival and departure from the country, and flight information. The Embassy does not recommend purchasing your ticket prior to a visa being issued.

A copy of your hotel confirmation(s) is required.

Minors

Children of US Parents:
Copy of birth certificate of child showing both parents names.

Children of Nigerian Parents:
Signed, notarized letter of consent by both parents.
Copies of both parents passports (bio date page)

Visiting Family or Friends (Visitors)

Invitation letter from the host Nigerian citizen, and a copy of his/her Nigerian passport (first four pages)

Nigerian resident aliens inviting friends must submit copies of their resident permits and the information page(s) of their passports.

Transit Visa

Fully completed ONLINE.

Note: Follow the step by step online instructions. Your application must be submitted online and the appropriate Consular fee paid for by credit card online ($112USD). When confirmed, please print a copy of your Application Acknowledgment Slip and Payment Receipt Confirmation mail both to TDS for processing, along with all other requirements detailed above. Failure to fully complete the visa application form will delay processing the visa.

The embassy will charge an additional $20 processing fee per application plus $65 if the application is needed on a rush basis. These fees are to be paid separately through TDS.

The Nigeria tourist visa is usually issued for entry within three months of the issue date provided the passport remains valid, for stay of 7 to 90 days, as granted by the Consulate. The visit must be completed prior to the expiry date of the visa. The multiple entries visa is valid six months for stay of 7-90 days on each visit.
