REQUIREMENTS FOR NON U.S. CITIZENS TO OBTAIN A VISA TO ENTER VIETNAM
Passport
Please send TDS your current valid and signed passport. It must not expire within 6 months and must have at least one blank visa page. If your passport expires within 6 months, you must renew your passport and then we will secure your visa with the new passport.
Photo
Please send 1 recent professional passport-type photograph.
Digital and non-passport photographs are not acceptable.
Proof of US Status
Photocopy of Alien Registration Card (Green Card) -or- evidence of legal status in USA (valid visa plus I-94 in passport)
Official Invitation
Pre-approval for visa clearance obtained for an applicant by his/her partner, host, representative, ahead of time at the Immigration Department, Ministry of Public Security (258 Nguyen Trai Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City or 40a Hang Bai, Hanoi). The Embassy of Vietnam issues the visa to the applicant based on that approval.
Please send a copy of the Official Invitation/Pre-approval, or write the approval number on the top of the visa application form.

Additional Helpful Information
Normal processing time for single entry Business visa issuance is approximately 5-7 business days. RUSH SERVICE (for single entry visa only) of 2-3 business days is available for an additional embassy fee of $20.00.
